I am blessed to be entrusted with commissions of varying symbolism and complexity. The need or occasion for these requested pieces of jewelry are often the driving force of inspiration behind the design. As I start a new custom piece, I think deeply about the reason it has been requested and the intended recipient. This meditative practice provides focus and drives my creative process to honor both the piece’s symbolism and the wearer.
