About Sarah

Inspiration comes from all around me, but I am most passionate about the act of metalworking itself. There is something about the smell of the metal, the sparkle of the shavings and silver dust mingled with copper wires on my workbench, and the feeling when I light my torch and manipulate the heat movement in the metal. Those textures that come from the hammer blows, the malleability that suddenly comes back after heating to temperature - that has always excited and fascinated me! My love for metal work has kept me occupied in the world of jewelry making for approximately 20 years now, and there's no end in sight because I can't picture myself doing anything else.
